Say in your request if you've already bought it. If the painter supplies it, their quote should say what's included.

Can I see a painter's past work?

Yes. Pros can add photos of past jobs to their profile, and you can read reviews from customers who hired them through Skiltap.

Do I need to move the furniture first?

Agree on it before the job. Say in your request whether furniture needs moving or covering, so it's part of the quote.

When does the pro get paid?

After you confirm the job is done. If you don't respond within 7 days of the pro marking it done, the payment is released automatically. If something isn't right, report a problem in the app before you release payment.

Posting a job and getting quotes is free. When you book, you pay the pro's quoted price plus a flat $5.99 service fee and any sales tax. You see the full total before you pay.
